Monte won 1st place at the New Jersey show last month and we are very proud of him. We'll see what the next show brings!

Congratulations and WTG Monte!
Hi Patty, I am so pleased to see Monte is doing so well for you! I always thought his fiber had the softest handle...like soft butter! He was one of our gentlest "cub scouts" (as we called our young males!). I'm also glad to see you are spelling "Monte" the way we did! Best of luck with your alpaca endeavors and I hope to see lots more pictures of Monte!

Hi Freddi,
Yes Monte does have buttery soft fleece and that's what got him the blue ribbons. Now I say "ribbons" because he has won 3 others since then. We just haven't been keeping up with the news here on Alpacatude. But we'll get back into it hopefully!
